I will make safe and responsible choices.
I will respect the equipment and use it safely.
I will respect and encourage my classmates.
I will do my best!

Activity:
Now we are going to practice skip counting by 3s with table partners.
  1. Stand up and face your partner.
  2. Place your left hand low with the palm up and your right hand high with the palm down.
  3. Close the gap between your hands to clap with your partner.
  4. Now give your partner a double high five with both hands at the same time right in front of you.
  5. Finally, clap your hands together.
  6. Now, we will count this three-movement pattern.  1, 2, 3
  7. Repeat and continue counting until you get to 36.

Take a Mindful Minute:
Students are asked to sit back in their seats for a “Mindful Minute”.
“Feet are flat on the floor, backs are straight, hands are still in our laps. We will now take five nice slow breaths while watching the breathing ball.  Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale.”
